The first time I experienced making recycled paper in a small workshop, I enjoyed the process but was a bit disappointed with the outcome. Then I discovered a book, The Gourmet Paper Maker, by Ellaraine Lockie, and learned that beautiful paper can be made from so many different plant materials! Since then, I have become obsessed with the endless possibilities. My paper is made from sustainable resources, much of which I forage, harvest, collect or repurpose, and it is compostable (but I prefer you keep it to admire.)
